Mes ressentis, mon travail

«A person in a situation of exclusion is a victim who is out of the sight of others, but also out of the sight of institutions, having lost, by living on the margins, the codes of community life: loss of family and societal ties, loss of the code of time, space and body, often accentuated by addiction to toxic substances to give way to the sole imperative of survival. This is not irreversible. The Samu Social acts against this phenomenon.» Dr. Xavier Emmanuelli, President Founder of Samu Social.

Making this report was a strong emotional experience. Detached from the technical contingencies of shooting, my main objective was only to testify as closely as possible to emotions, interactions, trust and sometimes conflicts. Each sortie is a new adventure because anything can happen.

These photographs are dedicated to street workers, doctors, nurses, social workers, drivers/animators, so that they can remind them that they are doing a job that is certainly challenging, but so beautiful and humane.
